Osteospermum

By cattyal
It's been a few days since I uploaded anything and in fact I've not had the opportunity to take any new photographs nor, for that matter, 'play' with any of my existing shots.

Here's one I did a couple of weeks ago on an idle evening - tweaked, fiddled and faffed and this is the result.

Hopefully it won't be too long before I'm taking photos again - I'm busy clearing out and converting the main bedroom into a little studio Smile

Hello - thank you everyone!

I think this was a mix of adjusting the white balance a bit, sharpening the centre, softening the edges and finally a dash of the Xero Porcelain plugin. It's one I forget I have and works very nicely on some subjects.

Classy image. Real artistic. Needs to be printed, framed and hung in some high end store, restaurant or something like that.

Hello again everyone and thank you all very much for your comments - and to Pete for my HC - a lovely surprise!

My new 'studio' is pretty much set up now, been busy all morning, and all that is needed is a coat of white paint everywhere. Now I'm torn between continuing with my domestic endeavours or running down to the supermarket for a bunch of flowers Smile

I see you what you mean about the little people Ann - you're daft Wink

Thank you again everyone Smile I'll have to fiddle with a few of the other shots I took of this flower and see if I can duplicate the effect - how much says I fail? Smile
