I bought some strawberries yesterday specifically for a still life pic but what I had planned hasn't come out as well as I'd like. I'll try again tomorrow but here's another iffy one for now Smile

I've already eaten some of them but there's enough left to try again!

Your lighting backgrounds and processing look superb and on the whole your arrangement/composition looks good. The only element that doesn't work for me is the fork. Somehow the angle interrupts the flow.

Thanks folks Smile

Happily the light at the moment is just right to do the pics just from window light and a bit of modification with my trusty sheet of foamboard. I just couldn't really crack the composition of any of my attempts yesterday - I'll try again later Smile

I like the arrangement overall, but it is a bit too dark....just a teensy bit more light would work wonders. I would also like to see it without the fork.

On the whole a very pleasing composition
but I know how hard it is to get what is in your head!
The brighter mod is lovely but I kind of liked the very controlled darker version too.
