Agree, a very Liza Minelli look.. aka Caberet.

Im struggling slightly with directional lighting, wondering whether it would sit better if it were more full frontal .. so to speak,
But I love this on so many levels, Liza Minelli, Clockwork Orange... and also meets.. ? Its just genius Smile

Thanks everyone - I'll admit to not starting out with any kind of theme at all but once I put the lower lashes on I figured the bowler was the logical accessory Smile I almost rooted out a white shirt & tie but quite frankly couldn't be arsed to clear the way to the wardrobe to get them out.

Which is another reason the lighting could be better K. - I did think that the softbox up front might work better but the 'studio' is such a flipping tip at the moment it was easier to stick with the beauty dish to the side. If I can fit it in this weekend, I'll give the room a blitz and try again as I do like this extreme lash look Smile

Maybe I'll see if I can cobble up a Cabaret style outfit which, given the ridiculous amount of dressing up clothes I have, won't prove too difficult!

Oh thanks for the mod Michael - nice treatment and, as usual, food for thought. It's not so much getting my inspiration back as finding the time to play - it's been a rather busy few weeks and things aren't really going to quieten down for a few more yet.....

A rather late thank you again everyone and thank you very much Peta for your award - very much appreciated Smile

I did/do have plans to do some self portraits this weekend but have been too busy messing about in the garden instead. Who knows, maybe inspiration will strike yet tomorrow.....
