And Woody Played Guitar...

By cattyal
Greetings on Silly Sunday Smile

My latest attempt has taken a while - about three evenings of work and a great deal of faffing about but I've enjoyed it and am very pleased with the result. It would be so much easier if I had more than three wooden men, the crowd would have been far quicker to do!

I won't bore you with techniques here although any questions are welcome. Just sit back and enjoy the show Smile

The crowd are great, love the lighting on them. I like what you have done with the reflection in the background, although the tv's look a bit too fake.

I always knew Woody was going to be a star.
A very effective shot and the crowd were well worth the trouble as they add enormously to it.
Great title too.

Hello everyone and thank you all Smile

I enjoyed putting this one together despite the time it took and think I might have to return to something more simple for next Sunday's upload! I do have a few planned but all require a fair bit of set building and I don't even have the materials yet.

I see what you mean Adam - of course the tv's are entirely fake but I'll take a look at the original and see if I can do anything with it one day. One of the main problems was the scanlines are fine in the large version but had to be modified somewhat to even appear in the small 1000px version.

Anyway, indeed Woody can turn his hand to pretty much anything - it's just up to me to help him along a bit!

Well he was going to do one of those sneaky private gigs down at The Woodcutters Arms but chickened out for some reason Mark Smile

Thank you Charlene - the trouble with coming up with better and more complicated pictures is that I feel I'm cheating if I suddenly return to my more simple shots. That may well have to be the case for next weekend though!

How clever! Very well worked.

(We have a little wooden girl... who gets up to antics and waves Geoff off in the mornings on our windowsill! Thanks for the giggles!)

Thank you again everyone Smile I've plenty more shots planned but all will take some time to set up - ie. one needs a brick wall building first so that might take a while!

I'll have to stick to the simple stuff for a while.
