These shield bugs seem to come in such a wonderful variety of colours and like Herman I find V 2 the best mainly because of all the detail and pattern on it's top surface (not very technically put, but you'll know what I mean, Carol).

The tendril is a wonderful playground for the shield bug, and makes for some very special images. Vs 2 and 3 are my favourites. I like the neat way the bug sits within the tendril in V3, but the detail of its markings is beautiful in V2.

A very amusing set of images showing this shield bugs comic capers. It's a pity you didn't find a pair getting amorous on the plant as you'd then be able to say that they were sharing a tendril moment!Grin
