ESSENCE OF A HOLIDAY

By Tish1
I dare say most may find this to be relatively boring, it may be described as empty with too much sky and you may well be correct.

However, I love this image, because it is empty, empty of people; the Canaries are always full of people, well, around the coast and it was a real treat just to sit for a moment drinking in the heat, sunshine, blue skies and of course the ocean. This image represents the essence of my holiday V2 also.

No editing has taken place apart from cropping.

Thank you all so much for taking the time to view and comment on my humble offerings; your time is very much appreciated.

Yes, it is empty but the pathways add interest to this photo.. Life at a crossroad, perhaps is an appropriate title for this shot.

I love it when a place is deserted like this Tish Smile A lovely photo - the empty drinking vessel causes deep concern with me though SmileGrin

The long and winding road, where does it lead, nobody knows!
A great lead in here - gives a sense of calm.
V2 - hmmm! What can I say - it's obviously your round! Tongue

The final result of V2 was worth all the effort put in, I sweated buckets to get that final result.

You have an emotional connection to it, so it means something to you.

It is however underexposed!

See mod.

Maybe it will evoke more memories!

regards

Nice one Willie, thank you so much, of course you are so right, I do have an emotional attachment to V1 and absolutely to V2 since unfortunately the Bier never tastes the same at home.

When I upload something called 'The Ghost of Michael Jackson' it will definitely be a lost cause, even you couldn't improve Wink

It was a hot one Mark and I had another immediately after that had gone, it went down in moments, should have ordered a large one, would have been cheaper than pretending to be civilised GrinGrinGrinGrinGrin
