Parys Mountain meet

OK, so we decided t meet at 7:15 am in anticipation of a sunrise over Parys Mountain. Despite some glimpses of pink, sunrise just didn't happen. Spent some time sheltering in old mine buildings, then decided to go in search of a disused farmhouse. Great property apart from the 12-bore nutters stalking us from just outside! The sun did peep out for about 10 minutes but was followed quickly by a fairly brutal hailstorm, at which point we retired to the pub

Not a great morning for photos, but at least we were in it together!

Thanks for the company!

Chris Wink

Thought I recognised the place! I was here earlier in the year, but haven't posted any shots. The geology of the area is amazing... Smile

Hi Chris,

Wow it was wet wasn't it! I like the images you've posted here, even the fat wet one in V2 (that flash did the trick). Shame we didn't take any of the shooting party Wink He probably would have called the polis if we had!

You missed out on some fleeting but nice light at Penmon afterwards... c'est la vie. It was good to meet up; we need to plan the next Smile

Cheers, Goggz

Looks like something from a Mars landscape - except wet and windy full marks for braving the elements to get these shots

Thanks All... it certainly was cold and wet. Wasn't even sure I'd get my camera out at one stage!!!

Will watch the forecasts Pete, and aim for something a little less extreme Wink

Sorry you couldn't make it Lee, perhaps next time Wink
