Red Grouse

Took a trip up Derwent Edge this morning with Chris, Trevor Andy and Paul.

Another of those b&w sort of days with the sun only coming out to play for about 15 mins while we was at the Salt Cellar.

So took to taking macro's of lichen and the occasional grouse when I could get near enough, being as the longest lens I was carrying was the 150mm.

a real beaut of an exposure and composition,
there is one up there that follows everyone he sees for crusts, cant shake him off sometimes
