Sarcophaga carnaria

By cdm36
I just cant seem to find the motivation to get into landscape mode at the minute...

So unfortunately I'm going to have to keep boring you with more macro work for a while. Smile

Ive waited until everyones finished their barbeques and had their tea's before posting this..

Wouldnt want to put them off would we Wink

Sarchopaga carnaria or (Flesh Fly ).Approx 10-15mm long and being one of several greyish species with large feet,
chequered abdomens and red eyes. These insects breed in carrion, dung and decaying material, and are viviparous
with the females laying small larvae instead of eggs.

Tech Stuff: Iso 800, 0.3 sec @ f18, +2/3ev.
Flash slightly underneath set at -1ev and bounced off a white reflector just above.

C & c welcome.

Chris.
