And this is a great shot. I'm an orchid nut second to being a heliconia nut but that bias has nothing to do with it. This shot has such a nice soft glow to it.

Such pretty flowers. They're so vibrant and the white background makes them even more so. That shallow dof is really nice, too. Good job.

A lovely shot Cat and my apologies for missing the debut of your D50. To be honest, you were doing so well with your Coolpix, I don't see any improvement in this, as far as quality is concerned, but it's early days and once you've got the hang of it I'm sure you will dazzle us.
