This picture speaks to me but I do not understand. Conceptual art flying over my head and offering a few mutterings as it goes. I see a landscape and because I have a love of the landscape it invites me in, but it is a dark and forbidding place with hidden dangers, so I will forgo the boots and hesitantly observe. Perhaps I need help..... from the photographer? John Tindall.

I am understanding ur "digital process" more and more ..ty for ur insight
I have NO doubt that you know EXACTLY what this is an image of
John as always I appreciate your well worded comments as I do ur comment on "Relections in an arcade" ty Pete I am glad you were inspired enough to comment ty..just for the record it was not an exercise in Brush work
Nor an out of focus mountain range ..It WAS an image/photograph tho ...The ONLY manipulations i did to it were the automatic adjustment functions(colour levels and comtrast) in PS ..I am sure all photographers have done this image at some time (well at least the 'experimetal' ones )The image is no big deal in itself ..it has been done b4 what I DO with it will be the exciting part ..well to me at least ..and I am sure there will be some of my gallery patrons that would agree with me when I finally install it the way that I plan ...unless of course I have a better show by myself and/or others to replace it

just back from some russian sites, but i had to see it again,it is mesmerizing, the clouds realy seem to move in this image, the very interesting contrast betwwen the two mountain lines.one of the best landscapes ive seen.we all have seen it all, havent we? nudes, portraits,landscapes...this image has a very deep sense of personal work, its not looking at a mountain plain view in great stereoscope colour, but rather looking at a very private view of someones inner world.i know this is all so subjective, but to me this is all about,"show me the world you see",your own world, allow me to look thru your eyes.im totally hooked on this image.its overwhelming, powerful and simple.
