Good Morning...again many thanks for taking time to comment on my previous uploads.

Since my start as a photographer, I have always enjoyed natural light...nothing beats it imo, however, I was continually asked if I did studio shoots and lost a lot of business because I did not have a studio. I had to make the descision to build a studio which I did...a very small studio, but one none the less.
Having only worked in a studio once...a couple of years back, my knowledge of studio work is almost non existant. Here where I live, the photographers are not a very helpful bunch, they're all afraid that their work will be duplicated and customers stolen from them - how silly considering we all have our very own set of eyes that see things so differently from the next person.
So...I had to do some google work and checked out some stuff here on EPZ (how grateful I am for EPZ - I have learnt so much in the past few years)
I have to admit...I still don't know much at all. Then a very good and old friend of mine living in the UK gave me 4 "letters" of advice - K.I.S.S. - Keep it simple Stupid - hahaha
So I tried, I invited a couple of people to act as my guinea pigs week after week and gave my best with little knowledge of what I was actually doing!

So...over the next days, I will be uploading some of the pics that I took and would sincerely appreciate any advice and help...please feel free to crit (but please be kind...cos I have a teeny weeny heart hahahaha)

Well, you must be getting a lot better with advice from whoever. The omly way to get better is finding your way through studio photographing and you will not forget what you learn!!

This picture is superb, thanks for sharing. Pete Howe

Nice write up on life and your experiences which both combine to make you the photographer you are this very day.... This last upload is brilliant work as I too never use Flash as I don't understand it at all after 30 years holding the Camera ~ For me as you say it's so Unatural.
The capture here is punchy and full of anticipation ~ Congratulations and keep popping that shutter as It's working!
