Wastwater Stones

By Chant57
John and I took at trip to the Lakes on Friday, and ended up on the shores of Lake Wastwater. After a delicious picnic of rose wine, ripening brie, olives, sundried tomatoes, german breads, and an assortment of chorizos, salamis etc, finishing with a great selection of fresh fruits, we thought - we really ought to take some shots.
Twas another Grand Day Out.

As always Thanks for Looking

Gorgeous light, detail and clarity and I like the way you've composed this Chant. Just goes to show that landscape photography doesn't have to be all shivering in a freezing field at 4.30 a.m - although that can work too Smile

This is one truly incredible shot, Chant. The light is simply exquisite and the rocks in the foreground just go PING!

Saying that, I'm a foodie...and the picnic you had toootally rules the moment Grin Especially that brie and the cured meats...ohhh...
