Fine Vine

By ChasD
I took this yesterday at Hever Castle. After a bright start the sky was mostly grey but I think the afternoon light and the warm colour of the stone as well as the leaf colour make the picture seem autumnal.

Lovely light, colours and textures, and although captured in the UK it has all the warmth you'd expect of the Mediterranean.

We walked Ray Woods at Castle Howard today and remarked how many trees have the autumnal look already.

Fine shot.

Nice light - great photo - I hope I get the point - the old wall with the grapes suggest me an OLD WINE - a good wine

Absolutely Daniel. That is I think what the picture suggests, and the idea appeals to me because I like wine very much and often buy wine that has been described as "from very old vines". These probably are old vines but I suspect in this setting they are probably purely ornamental.

You live in a fine part of the world Rock.

Thank you both for your comments.
