Hellebore

By chase
Dusted off the camera today...again Wink as there was some nice sunshine coming into my kitchen.

These stunning Hellebores are just coming into flower so I stole a stem before the wicked wind tore them to bits..well,that's my excuse Wink
Lit by daylight with an x-ray lightbox behind.

I wanted to try out the HDR effects in Lightroom,so 3 frames, one stop apart combined in Lightroom, finished in Photoshop with a subtle texture.
Tbh I think I prefer the Lightroom HDR rather than Photomatix as there is much more scope to adjust the effects and it's quicker.
Hopefully the colour will be ok on here as I am still battling with the Mac to get it right.

Thanks for taking the time to drop by,constructive criticism is always welcome, mods are enabled too if you fancy a bash.

Lovely Janet. It's a fab hellebore. Do you know the variety?
Have you tried the "Merge to HDR Pro in Photoshop" option which appears in LR's Edit options? It's the one I am going for at present.
It's great to see you here again. Fiona

Lovely to get your UA's Alan & Ade,thank you.

Thanks for your comments everyone, much appreciated.

Hi Fiona, not sure of the variety Sad I'l have a look, see if I still have the label....doubtful though,I bought half a dozen different varieties as bare rooted plants with an offer in one of last years' Gardeners World Mags.
I did have a go with the Photoshop version of HDR but tbh I found Lightroom's option so easy to do at the 'raw' stage..saved as a 16 bit tiff then finished off in P/S I compared the two methods & the L/R version won hands down.
