The Seamstress

By chase
One of the Ladies from the Steampunk Asylum weekend at Lincoln Castle recently.
A lovely Lady who made all her own clothes..even the hat !!
Taken in rather harsh daylight in a nice shady spot away from the crowds, especially to try & avoid horrid glare in her glasses.
Messed with in Photoshop.
I did try to photograph 'different' at this year's event, there are lots of people dressed in brass goggles & the like, finding different was difficult Wink

Thanks for dropping by.
Janet xx

Superb portrait. Love her outfit especially the hat!
You've handled the glasses very well - her eyes are really clear.

I wouldn't have taken this for a steam punk portrait. I love her attitude. You handled the natural light very nicely -- especially keeping her glasses glare free.

A great character but TBH I'm finding your vignette a bit heavy Jan, especially down in the bottom left corner ........

I bet you have missed my niggles of late Tongue
