Teddy's Day Out

By chase
Alison ( AlleyCatz) & I went to a fantastic location yesterday & found the most amazing spiral staicase in an abandoned building. It was probably the best part of 50 feet high.
We took along my Granddaughter & a load of props, sadly we were unable to take most of the props with us as we had to scramble through a wire fence, down a couple of ditches & pick our way through loads of abandoned rooms to get there...all good fun...we had a whale of a time really Wink
The light was ok,daylight streamed through the huge broken windows right onto the staicase...a revisit is planned to explore this location further.
The props were mostly bought from charity shops ....including the beautiful dress & hat Paige is wearing.
Never thought I would do the Urbex stuff at my time of life,still....... there is a first time for everything Wink

Thanks for the day Alison, ....... Paige was a stunning model for us both wasn't she ?

This is probably my favorite image from our escapade...there are a few more so be prepared,as I know Alison had a couple of goodies too Wink

F4
1/10th sec with tripod
ISO 200

Raw file converted in Lightroom.
A couple of very subtle textures added in Photoshop, hence the DM category.

Thanks for taking the time to look.

Fine piece of work Janet. Love the light falling on your model's face and the contrast between the glammed up outfit and the grungey backdrop.
Top notch.

Thanks for the mod Dave,I really like that desaturated look to it too.
There was so much I could have done with this image & I'm sure there is another 'step' to take with the PP,would possibly have liked it a little darker, with an 'Old Masters' look to it....I'll be fiddlin' Wink

Blast is an undertatement Mrs Catz Wink

Resistance is futile Stuart, thankyou for taking the time to do a mod for me,perhaps a touch on the brighter side of where I was going with this one but it's good to see what someone else may have done with it.
