The Fat Lady Sang

By chase
It's all over, the solo performance from the Violinist has ended, she has just gone to get her coat before calling a Taxi home.

Last one in this set, needed to be B&W I think.
Lit by daylight camera left.
Raw file sorted in Lightroom, converted in Nik Silver.

I like the story this one tells.

I know, another lensbaby image, sorry...I wasn't sure that I would like using this kit but the effects seem to bring a storyline together somehow.
I had a few lessons yesterday from a welcome visitor, many things became clearer in my mind so I must thank my instructor for his time and effort.
Until you have used a Lensbaby in whatever form it's difficult to appreciate what it does, why it does it and how it gets there...mind boggling stuff Wink

Thanks for dropping by.
Constructive critique and mods welcome.
Janet xx

It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings.....hmm, you sure she's just gone to get her coat, looks more like she's off on a tryst!!!!!!
This is really great Janet, loads of stories could be made up when viewing and B&W is so suited to the whole arrangement. Really love this one......have you saved the best 'til last, Janet????!!!

Reminded me of when our eldest daughter decided to take up the violin - I'll let you decide if I'm referring to a good or bad memory.
Lovely shot though Janet.

I know where the shutter release button is but I lack the artistic flare that you demonstrate.

Nice end to the series. I couldn't resist a sepia tone, see mod

‘Elvis has just left the building’ 🙂 Really beautiful mono work here, tells a fine story, or several. Burlesque beads, and retro spectacles, this sings. 🎼🎻

A lovely follow up, Janet, though do slightly favour the colour as my fave of the two 👍

Dunno, I am still a colour girl at heart and I liked the gentleness of the prievious one tbh with the wind blowing the curtain.

Dave, I suspect the memory would be kinda squeaky and ear defenders may have been used Wink

Your going to be having us all ordering lensbaby's. You've got it down to a science how to use it. This is really beautiful Janet.

There are enough to go round Sandy Wink quite a few different ones, each giving their own individual effects.
Many thanks for your coveted UA.

Thanks for the mod James, a little too much sepia for me but it does give a different atmosphere to this.

Thanks for your interest everyone.

I was in my thirties before my mum (ever-supportive) admitted to me that it had been torture listening to me practising when I first started out, aged around 10 Wink
