The Mouse

By chase
As promised in my earlier upload, the full Mouse Man chopping board.
The board is well used by my Daughter, she has had it for quite some time now so plenty of chopping marks.

The angle is a bit weird, to show off the Mouse, but at least I got the bottle straight Blush

Taken in daylight camera left.
An HDR image, 3 frames each 1 stop apart combined in Lightroom, finished in Photoshop with a bit of faffing Wink

Thanks for taking the time to drop by.
Constructive critique and mods welcome.
Janet xx

I like the angle Janet, you have fully captured the mouse's endeavour to reach those figs.....before you do!!!! Nice set up and I love the texture on the background.

I remember these from my school days (yes, I know it's a long time to cast my mind back!), when we visited Kilburn here in Yorkshire and saw the mouse carvings of Robert Thompson 😃 A very lovely set-up and presentation, Janet 👍

Nicely set up Janet - I do like that mouse chopping board. The angle is deceptive.

This one has more immediate appeal than the raindrops, as it's more traditional in appearance. The angle isn't weird, it provides a dynamic diagonal though the composition, emphasised by the angle of the handle and the crouching mouse. the background texture and colour suit, and I like the way you have blended the background into the table (or vice versa!)

As James says, there's nothing wrong with the angle, indeed, the downward slope provides dynamism, as the mouse hurriedly approaches the food.

My UA's a bit late. It was a close run between this one and the sloes, guess the mouse ran faster!
Both are beautiful, James
