Flags

By chavender
Not a subject normally associated with mono but it was the tones, textures and semi transparency that attracted me to these lobster pot flags.

It made me wonder when I saw the title but it's certainly worked.

Thanks Brendan

Thought I would go for a different viewpoint other than the normal colourful flags, concentrating instead on the tones, textures etc.

I am Now trying to see past the obvious when it comes to mono to see if it improves my images.

Subtle. I like the moiré effect in the overlaying fabric.

I really need to motivate myself.
I took over leadership of the B/W group and I think I've only uploaded one image since!

I`ve been the same over the last few weeks, no motivation to produce something new.

Now I find that by looking at everyday and mundane objects and trying to discover a new way of seeing and capturing them has re kindled my enthusiasm and given me a different oulook on my photographic journey.

Of course this may just be the start of me uploading a complete load of rubbish Wink
