A Nazca Booby cleaning its feathers on the Galapagos island of Genovesa. This is the furthest flung island in the archipelago to the North East and the sea was pretty rough on both our overnight sails to and from the island. The cliffs of the volcano's circular caldera allow a variety of bird species to live and nest. The Nazca Booby is one of three types of booby that live on the islands.

Thanks for looking!
