Another visit to the Raptor Centre, Cambs. I liked the blur of movement and tried to focus on the face of the owl. I couldn't believe my luck when I just caught another behind.

I like this a lot; if you are going to shoot captive birds then why not be honest about it like this image is. I love the sharp owl with blurred handler behind. His raised arm imples a release action and links them together as well as enhancing the movement and dynamism in the image.
If I had one formative comment then it would be I feel the second owl is actually a distraction rather than an enhancement, merging with the first owl and pulling my eye out of frame and away from the important subject of in-focus owl and handler. It may be possible to clone it out (if your photoshop skills are better than mine Grin ) and then see if you agree.

These are the real shots I like. All this talk about photoshopping gets on my nerves. I want an honest photo that captures the moment, and this for me has all the right qualities. Love it.
