A Rather Moving Walkway

By ChiliMan
Had to take this travellator to a buffet lunch today. I liked the lighting and mood and took the shot while on it.

It seemed kinda grainy when I viewed it on the computer, so I thought I'd fiddle with it.

First I softened it. Then I pushed the gamma correction thing from 1 to 1.2 (does that mean upping gamma correction by 20%?). Then I boosted contrast by 20%. Lastly, I pushed blue 40%.

I did all that on Paint Shop Pro 5.0

Great capture. Like the composition and the infinity point. Welcome back from the darkness. Happy snapping.

Thanks! I really love the lines. The colours - even before I'd fiddled with 'em - were a delightful bonus.

Interesting shot. It gives a feeling of motion, as if I'm being drawn into the picture.
