Crickety Thing

By ChiliMan
First off, huge thanks to Carol ( CarolG ) for her wonderful User Award on the previous image…and to Lynne ( LynneJoyce ) for her very likely explanation of the droplets SmileSmile

Weird droplets they were, weren’t they? The only other time I saw weird droplets was HERE .

-----

Now then…here’s a colourful crickety character captured yesterday.

Is this a cricket?

I hadn’t really noticed the colours until I viewed the images afterwards on the camera’s LCD. Pretty thing, huh?

Once upon a time cricket was always played in whites; nowadays every team has its own individual colours Blush
But I never could tell the difference between a cricket and a grasshopper!

A beauty of a cricket.. Well if its not Mr Cricket it must be his cousin.
Great detail and wonderful monsoon atmosphere. Wish I was there... Nearly may now and still hardly any critters, +8° c now.
