Eye Centreís-eye View

By ChiliMan
Hey, people Smile

These were taken on 16th October when I took my dad to see his eye surgeon to arrange his cataract op (which is the coming Wednesday). The eye centre had moved and now sits on the 17th floor in a new building. Big fat windows they have too. The glass was pretty clean the last time but this time Iíll bring tissues to clear any nose prints Grin

The building you see in the pictures is a building Iíve always found beautiful. Itís called Fusionopolis and is an R&D complex.

Vs 3 and 4 were taken about an hour apart. Quite a marked difference in light, huh?

V3: 4.58pm
V4: 6.02pm

Hope you like the views. One more view to come tomorrow.

Good you took dad to the eye specialist. You got to look out from the 17th floor and put nose prints on their windows. A great set Andrew.

Thanks, Colleen Smile It's a very routine procedure so I'm not too worried.

Nice bit of architecture among the greenery here Andrew.
I never see the light changing however.
I spend the time in my coffin during daylight hours !!
Good shots.

Great views, Andrew. Your description reminds me of my childhood, and an old German/Swiss watchmaker who, when us lads were looking into his display window, used to come out of his shop and shout at us, " if you don't vant to buy a vatch, get your sn**ty noses off of my vindow". It became quite a catchphrase amongst us.

Give my best wishes to your Dad. My wife had that operation a year or so ago, and it didn't bother her a bit, and she was back to normal within a day or so, except for applying the eye drops and protecting the eye, etc.

Re. your remark on my picture, I, myself, was surprised that the Toshiba Quality Control was so lacking. I haven't had an answer from the dealer yet.

Brian

What a smart place you live in Andrew and here we have 4 very appealing cityscapes. V4 reveals a bit too much pollution for comfort.

Good luck to your dad for Wednesday.

Good grief...you're right...it does look like pollution, doesn't it?? Hmmm. It was a pretty clear day from what I remember. But it sure likes pollution in V4, Lynne.

Pollution or not I like V4, the colours in the sky seem to suit a cityscape, maybe because I am used to seeing itTongueTongue
