For Linda

By ChiliMan
Thanks for the response to my dried leaves, people Smile

Now then…these are from Cassandra’s Roses… here …and here .

Linda, here are the dried roses I was telling you about – these were taken on the 26th of November last year. The red ones didn’t dry so well. I liked these two white ones so I took various shots. Not particularly stunning but I hope you like ‘em anyway Smile

Will catch up with everyone soon. It’s been a long day. A good-ish one, though. Finally got myself a portable harddrive. A fit-in-my pocket 320GB one which was on sale. I’m not really a gadget person but I’ve got a huge grin on my face. Looking forward to giving my files and folders a good and well-needed perestroika.

It's the textures which I find really striking here. Nice shapes in those Roses too. The light through the small area of glass looks very pleasing. Interesting you've aquired an external hard-drive. Been toying with that for storing images too.

Fabulous light! And textures. These seem to be coy, bashful, old ladies blinking in the spotlight.

Beauty doesn't have to mean fresh! These have such wonderfully subtle tones and crispy textures. Well captured.

They take on a different form and create so much texture when they dry, I see them like the skirts of ball gowns as the petal curls seem to form the swirl of them - very nice Andrew, I think they can be and are more interesting than fresh ones

Hi Andrew, well something different that is for sure. I love the colour and texture on these flowers and your black bg. Would like to have seen them in something other than water though. Seeing as they are dried LOL. A nice wicker basket or something, just a personal preference not meant to be a critic LOL. A super idea and I quite like it Hope Linda did.
