Furry Tales

By ChiliMan
Hey, people Smile

First off, this is for CarolG for all the kicks in the bum to get me back into the swing of EPZ.

I let inertia get the better of me and it even got to the point where I hadn’t picked up the cam for a few weeks. I started taking pics again about a month ago in bits and pieces and have been sending Carol and Lynne(Joyce) the odd pic along the way. A flower here, a sky there, that sorta thing.

ANYWAY…it feels like I’m about to start rambling so I’ll cut it short for now. For NOW, mind you. Once I pick up momentum, who knows Wink

Alrighty…this was taken a month ago upon returning from a walk. Some evening sun backlighting these clematis seedheads made me grab the cam. I actually took this to show CarolG at the time, ‘cos I know she loves this plant. I like the feathery bits here. Very Dr. Seuss Grin

I hope you’ve all been well and that the weather has turned around for a lot of yous.

Andrew

Lovely shot, I can't decide if I prefer the mono or colour, they both work really well. I think the colour adds a bit more background interest and warmth.

Hi Andrew, and welcome back.
PLEASE pick up the momentum and get the wires buzzing!
And keep the pics coming if they're anything like this one . . . Immaculate use of shallow dof, lovely light and lively composition. A furry AND feathery abstract!
Regards
Bill

Hi Andrew, good to see you around!
I enjoyed V1. Then I looked at V2 and now I find the leaves bottom left of V1 very annoying. I had scarcely noticed them before! So it's V1, for harmony.

Beautifully backlit. I think if I were really pressed, I'd go for v2. It has a lovely serenity about it.
Nice to see you back.
