Shady Cover-Ups

By ChiliMan
First off, HUGE THANKS to Annette (annettep38), Ann (AnnChown) and Christine (ChristineD) for their wonderful User Awards on “Just Chillin’ & Jammin’”. Totally bowled over SmileSmileSmile

Now then…here’s something for Silly Sunday.

I’d gone into the driveway to photograph an old rose whose petals were half fallen off. Took some pics. Then gave it a nudge to dislodge more petals when I saw this beautiful beetle scuttling under one of the remaining petals. Of course I couldn’t leave him alone Grin

I plucked the petal in an attempt to photograph him. Now check out the last two images. NO idea how I managed to photograph those – I was sooo trying not to laugh as he tried to pull the petal over himself with that rear leg GrinGrin

PS LOVE the comments on yesterday’s upload. Lynne, I have yet to blitz the modified jam with the stick blender. It will be interesting to see how the two bell peppers have tamed it and altered the taste. I doubt they would've tamed it much, though! Smile
