The Return

By ChiliMan
Hey, people Smile

Here’s something I fiddled with last week.

This one is for CaroleA , who unknowingly got me interested in Snapseed from THIS amazing image of hers.

The original of today’s upload was taken in September 2009 while I was waiting to make a U-turn. Right next to me on the centre divider was this guy waiting to cross the road. Enough road sounds allowed me to drop the window, pop out the cam, and take the shot without worrying about him turning around.

Sigh…the free 15-day demo of Snapseed is over. VERY fun little program. Not too many effects and filters but you can tweak each one considerably with sliders for this, that and the other. I’ve never plugged a program before…but I will say yep, go for it: download the free version and have a play Smile

Alrighty…off I trot and I will catch up with your pics tomorrow.

Hey Andrew! I really like this toned version. I have Snapseed on my iPhone and I used it a lot in the beginning, but I don't take pictures with my iPhone much, so Snapseed has taken a back seat.

I love the effect you've achieved here. I don't use an iPhone so I miss out - but partial desaturation plus that hint of cross-processing is something that I keep meaning to look into.

A very suitable treatment for the image Andrew. Just right. Smile
I don't have an iphone either so I don't use these little programs, but it does look good.

I love the image, and both treatments. I had not known what Snapseed was, so did a quick google and the site is so smart it knows that I have a KoboArc that it is compatible with! Almost scary............isn't it.
