Tiny Tim

By ChiliMan
Iím sure there are caterpillars smaller than this but this is definitely the tiniest Iíve seen! The smallest butterflies Iíve seen in the driveway are some tiny blues. Maybe this is one of them in its crawly phase? I really should look it up but once again Iíve left uploading till late, so Iíll look it up tomorrow.

V3 is for scale Smile

Andrew

EDIT: Just noticed I got a User Award for my Saturday Shadows. HUGE thanks to Pamela (pamelajean) for that wonderful surprise SmileSmile

V1 is an excellent macro of this diminutive caterpillar and v3 gives us a real sense of scale as it shows us just how tiny Tim really is

Smashing shots Andrew. I used to catch all sorts of these creatures when I was a kid out Hop Picking. I'd keep loads of them in a Match box, but that probably wouldn't be allowed these Days Smile
