Christmas voices 2

By mrswoolybill
C
Another carol-singing picture from our town's Christmas street party. Be warned, I am starting to feel all warm and fuzzy. This is not natural...
This one was tricky for various reasons – not the least being three microphone stands and a crush barrier set up immediately to the left. Hence the tight crop...
Thanks for looking,
Moira

A somewhat younger group Today Moira, and a very charming delightful image they make. The perfect pov and dof, and super colour. Yep, I like it VERY much.

Ah...the magic of Jim Beam. It's perfectly normal. Just go with it, Moira Grin

You know what? I didn't even think the crop was too tight. Everything's sitting so well together in this. Kudos.

And I just LOVE that light.

Quite a lot of mulled wine actually that evening. Cheers everyone, I have one more cute upload to come before I revert to default mode.

I do like the tight crop Moira and colour is very good as they are children, nice use of selective focus. Warm and fuzzy though not a good sign.

Thanks again everyone. The light - well I hate using flash but I have been working on it for the last couple of years because there are times when it cannot be avoided.
This was taken with Bill's 20mm lens, which I covet, and nick occasionally when he is not looking...

Warm and fuzzy must be going around. I'm sure I felt it last night. A lovely picture of the children. At the age of sweetness before turning 13. Have a very Merry Christmas to you and Bill.

Warm and fuzzy Moira ?
Did Bill buy you a ''onesy'' for Xmas ?
I suppose with this cold weather it is a sensible buy though !!
The kids are well wrapped up here.
Good shot.

I also have pictures of their disco-dancing competition, which was a ruthless, cut-throat business. I shall spare you those! Wink

it's always good to see the children enjoying Christmas, did you think about taking the writing off the hat? it does take the eye a little

The effect of the flash used gives the feeling of a bonfire out of shot to the left. A warming light that also warms the heart.
