That hairstyle took too much time to mess up in the ocean. And, do people really wear navel jewelry for a swim in the sea? I have my doubts but she obviously made an effort for those selfies - and you captured the final stages. Great sequence. I hope her photos turned out as well.

Have never understood this obsession with selfies instead of taking images of the place where you are.
Perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I am an ugly old git, which is also why I prefer to be behind a camera instead of in front of oen.

Well, she certainly loves herself! She is an attractive looking lady, but agree about this obsession with selfies - you see yourself every day, but not what's around you, which make far more interesting subjects. And they are a nuisance with their sticks, getting in the way when you're taking proper photography 😡 I hate photos of myself, and the only selfies I take are for avatars like here for EPZ! 😁 Anyway, off my soapbox, a great set of candids for Silly Sunday, Isabel 👍

Thank you Trevor for being urbanely grumpy so I don't have to! I do find this sort of thing utterly baffling but then again I have been employed as a bird scarer! 
It's one of those paradoxes that with increasing self obsession comes declining self awareness but then again I remember my parents wisely saying it was no good putting old heads on young shoulders! Bless her, I wonder what she'll make of the pictures in 20 /30 years time? I hope she has a lovely life but my guess is it might be better still if she settled for using the phone ...... as a phone.
