V1 is an intriguing mix of abstract and reportage, most unusual. I like it a lot.
I'm looking at alternative crops. Could I suggest that it would perhaps work better with part of the right hand panel cropped off - say everything beyond where the streak of light hits the base of the frame? That would place the dominant vertical of the wall edge to the right in the frame and create a sort of reverse L-shape to contain the scene. It would also give greater importance to the light and shadow on the wall.
Alternatively, crop off the table and its shadow, and then crop a bit off the right to create a square. That would give more importance to the striped pole and the single dark figure.
Hope you won't be offended by that, it's my sort of subject and I wish I had found it!
