Wall Xpression!

By Chinga
Confucious says: Roads are made for journeys... not just destinations...
I really should get a LIFE! Tongue
In my usual journeys looking for "green subjects" I found this two bits of wall with some delicious tantalizing green bits! GrinGrinGrin
V1 is a wall slice from a Church in Muswell Hill
V2 is a wall slice from the back of Alexander Palace
Both shot in North London, hand held and the light was rubbish!
*** A huge THANK YOU to Luckybry's for his UA on yesterdays image Grin

Just the opposite of the square peg in the round hole. Well spotted Isabel, makes a great shot. I prefer V1.....Sandy

You are like a magnet to anything unusual that is green, Isabel Smile Carol

I like V1 better Isabel. Good shots, and good eye to capture that which others would not see. Your comment on the light? I am guessing from the light in V2 that it was cloudy, which I think gave you far better color--and light-- than you would have had on a sunny day.

Flat light is so much better for showing variations in tone and texture, Isabel.

Good composition, simplicity, colour balance and great texture makes this image interesting. A dark border might help in my opinion.
