Street shadows

Hello everyone, Thank you for your kind words and good wishes to mum.
Just got back from sunny Portugal sorting out her life. Operation to the leg went well. She is still in treatment for her broken leg, t get her back walking, they are releasing her on the 8th Feb. So I had a mad rush to find her a re-habilitation care place because she's in no condition to go back home as she still needs 24hr supervision and she is very confused. I am going to have to get a part time job as an extra to pay the 800 Euros per month required to keep her in care. So... a lot of challenges ahead, but it's got to be done.
The one positive is that I have been all over the place looking at care homes, so got a chance to take lots of photos in between viewing appointments. The weather was wonderful, sunshine all the way...

Had to be yours. Glad you at least had good weather. Sorry to hear your Mom still has a long road ahead of her. She is so lucky to have a great daughter like you.

Good to have you back Isabel - but sorry to hear your Mum still not too good. I can imagine it has been a nightmare of you to sort.

Good to hear you are getting things sorted out for your Mum...
Elderly folk, breaking bones, is shattering to their confidence, so no wonder she is confused.
I wish you all the best, in seeking further employment, to pay the care home fees.
