Swells Hill 2013 No 3

By tomcat
The main reason for the Swells Hill visit was to see and hopefully photograph the beautiful Adonis Blues Lysandra bellargus

A species I had never even seen beforeSmile
I was truly amazed by the electric blue colour of this pristine male

Many thanks to Jenny (Jenny-D), for her generous award, given to yesterday's upload - means a millionGrin

Catch up later - off to The Coppice to try and get the place ship shape for the coming bird seasonBlush

A stunning close up of this vivid electric blue butterfly Adie, you've really nailed this one. The stick in the background is a tad distracting but that is only a minor blemish on what is a fabulous image

I think Adie will take that as a complement Matt, the last person to say that to him was probably either his missus after she'd had one too many G&T's or one of the barmaids at the Talbot Arms and they are normally under the influence of something rather strong!GrinTongue
