bumblebee

i spotted this female white tailed bumblebee resting in my greenhouse on one of the seed trays hence the bright colours an noticed it was carrying a parasitic mite. i since discovered it did not live of the bee but used it for a means to gain entry to its nest to feed on wax secreted by the lava
