Like the dof here and the colouring. The bold border may be a little overpowering though (just my opinion)I think this flower is a helenium? - of sorts.

Light of my life, why so disheartened???, your recent uploads have been great. Keep stepping out of the box and trying different things, some will work most wont, that's nothing to do with you it's just the way it is. Trying new stuff is usually more enjoyable too, even if it's just composing your shots differently, like lying on the floor, tilting the camera at an angle and so on. Don't get downhearted just take some shots of Sam, you know your onto a winner with the best child model of all time!!!
Have a fantastic Bank Holiday weekend (I hope your not working...) Take care, lots of love and hugs.
Henry

Wendy, dont be disheartened. Your images are great and while I agree that we all have off days just pick yourself up girl and get snapping. There is so much out there to experiment with.

A lovely shot by the way that has an abstract feel to it for me. Great colours, DOF and detail. CLIK,

Nice choice of DOF. Perhaps just a shade more to bring out the centre but still an interesting photo.
I like your take on the dog bones. Made me smile.
