Chesterton windmill under stars

By carbonbianchi
Taken on a bitterly cold night, this was my first attempt at night photography and, more particularly, star photography. What struck me was how much light pollution there was! This was 5 miles from the nearest town but I still got an orange glow at the base of the sky.
