SpectatorThis is a good image but has the potential to be a great image. IMHO I would do the following:-

1) crop out the far right pier leg (the one that is just protruding into the shot) it spoils the symmetry,

2) clone out the sun, I feel it detracts from the main subject

3) give the top of the image more room around the gull. The crop for me is a little to tight on the gull.

Beeley Moor, DerbyshireNice image but can I mention the placement of the ND Grad Filter, its darkened the top of the tree in the foreground. It's not always possible to get the placement bang on in situations like this so a little careful lightening of the tree at the post processing stage is called for. Good exposure throughout the image and nice use of the footpath to guide the eye into the image.
