Nowhere To Hide

By Chris_H
Berney Arms windmill on the Norfolk Broads, despite being the biggest and one of the nicest mills on the Broads Berney Arms does not normally receive much attention from photographers due to the long walk required to reach the mill.

The best way to get to the mill is by boat, however on this occasion I decided to walk the nearly two hour trip across the marshes to reach the mill when stormy weather was forecasted. When the conditions I wanted arrived, they only lasted a short while and then it rained and showed no sign of stopping. I got absolutely soaked and after an hour of waiting I decided to head back so I walked the long walk across the marshes. Just as I got in my car the sun came along with a rainbow, always the way :-(

Excellent shot of the mill with a good skyand the river looks very uninviting as usual. Good composition. Andy

Another stunning image Chris. Should have received a bit more attention in reality but that's how it goes sometimes??
Liked the article in the mag about the mill. Some nice images too.
