Really good shot, like the effect of light and shade, plus the mist on the hillside.

Interesting that there are two shots from Rydal uploaded within a few minutes of each other in the Gallery, taken from more or less the same place (just in different directions). My one is entitled Rydal Ruin.

It's a great place to take pictures.

This is lovely - the composition makes the most of the soft lighting, and the mist in the distance is the finishing touch. Excellent stuff.

Wow, what can I say? I was hoping for double-figures but never thought it'd get this degree of response in under two hours. A big, big thank you everyone.
