Great minds.. Grin Excellent capture, Chris. Were you in the tall tower hide? I went to Llanddeusant which is a far less sophisticated setup. Nice and sharp on the foremost Milvus. Were you at the long end of your Sigma. I only ask because some have told me it's optimal at 400mm. If this was at 500mm though I'd say the IQ is very impressive - in the right hands of course.

Great minds indeed. This was taken in the hide under the tower, it was at 500mm hand held and I have cropped it slightly. I am quite pleased with it, it does work well with good light. It was taken some time ago I am just going through some of the old shots as I am laid up with a dodgy shoulder and going for an opp on Saturday.

I am out of hospital now and all is going wellSmile, hopefully it won't be to long before I can hold the camera again.
