Village pump

By ChrisOs
This very sad old pump was in a quiet spot in a village called Ribeauvill in Alsace. I've desaturated it and then added some brown tone to reflect the old neglected feel it has.

Nice catch, the composition with the stairs and the strong verticals gives it an ageless feel, like nothing's moved in years!

Well composed, seen and taken. The b/w and tint does give it a days gone by feel. Deserves more attention than it's received so far.

Thanks for your comment Chris-like the subtleties of your touching up.(My prob. being i'm spoilt with the tools i'm getting to grips with-i'm in a playground this all being new to me.) Soft, easy going shot and very refreshing.
