Heading Home

By chrisrudland
I am not a specialist with layers but I found the brightest and nicest part of this image was the beach hut so I have had a go at bringing this out even more and placing the focus on the hut, and perhaps you will notice the two guys heading home in the background hence the title.

I also gave it a very mild 45% sharpen, not my usual USM.

Thank you for your encouraging response to my last upload and taking the time to comment.

Chris

I like the partial conversion to mono - works with this subject. The composition is nice and I like the detail/texture of the fg

Nice work, I have no doubt that you have spent a lot of time on this image Chris with your usual care and attention. The USM is bang on and I think you were right not to go any further.

Lovely shot Chris, it works really well. Great mixture of colour and mono with the emphasis placed where it should be. Well done.

I'm not a great lover of selective colouring but you have done a fine job here.

Thanks for your comment on my pic. The beach is Kessinland. After the storm a copuple of weeks ago it changed the shape and layout of the beach a lt. Amazing really
