Excellent shot. I like the composition and the low angle light is lovely, worth the wait!

    Well done.

Wink Desaturated.... not really a word you associate with Velvia Smile I know what you mean though.

Thanks for the comments from everyone so far.

Thanks for your comments everyone Smile

Re the colours and tones - the new colour profiles in the newest version of Lightroom 2 make a huge difference. I've found the profiles more pleasing than the standard adobe camera raw colour profiles. Of course the colours and tones have to be there in front of the camera in the first place Grin, the new profiles just help bring them out in the processed image.

V1 works best for me. The soft colours make the shot and you really want to see that nice green colour in the sea.

    Nice work.

Lovely shot with a really dark mood about it, fantastic. I would have to agree with DRicherby about cloning out the y-shaped object (seaweed perhaps?), it does pull your eye away from the rest of the image.

Well done and thanks for sharing!

    Hi Paul

Excellent photo and those vevia colours are simply stunning. This is exactly why I'm returning to medium format and Fuji Velvia.

    Well done.
