Indeed, an impressive bit of manipulation: any noise will be more evident after this close crop from the original.

Its not the iso that is responsible for the high noise more the amount the image as been cropped.

You have put in a lot of work to isolate the bird and single branch and have archived a nice result. - gary

Pretty good with such a big crop!
It makes you appreciate other bird images when you start taking your own.
The bird photographers would have trouble emulating your images though!

I don't think it is the high ISO it has been cropped significantly and sharpened, this has happened on some of my images too. A fine long range shot and good work in photoshop to remove those twigs
