Waxy Apple For A Waxy Bird.....

By NaturesHaven
A first for us yesterday (11th Dec), the first Waxwing we have had to drop into Natures Haven, I couldn't believe my eyes..........I had to get the binoculars out to confirm the identity, then I got the camera out, she returned on and off all day to eat the apples still hanging from the apple trees.........GrinGrinGrinGrin

Great shot, Julia.
Hope you don't mind me saying but I found your copyright logo a little distracting so close to the subject. Grin

They always seem to know when their favorite fruit is ripe. They will land on our mountain ash for a day, and then I don't see the again until another year's crop.
