  • Bonita - Tattoo Artist

Thanks Ian, I like your modification, especially the lightened shadows.

I wanted to keep the tattoo artist as the focus of the image, that's why i used such a shallow depth of field but I understand your point about wanting the tattoos in focus. They had one lamp but it was pretty weak, shooting with just that light gave me an exposure of 1/60th @ f2.8, ISO 1600 which for left me with a fair bit of camera shake so i decided to use flash so i could control that and the noise levels.

  • Grand Magus Live : Heavy Rock Band.

Hey, I read your post about Live music photography and this is impressive considering the situation! I would of come down from F16 to around 5.6 or 8. I normally use fast primes (50mm or 85mm) around f4. Or consider something like a Tamron 17-50 f2.8.

    I hope this helps

  • Please sit with me.

Absolute cracker! Could benefit with a boost of the shadows though.

  • Down The Drain

Great concept. Wouldn't of minded seeing it with the beach in focus instead and a slight crop.
