White dress

White dressI'm with Imander to some degree - I must admit my first reaction on opening up was "why the exposed pubis?"

The light on the swell of her breasts is very erotic in itself and the other thing is perhaps just a little over-egging.

But that does seem petty and niggardly in view of the fact that this is a magnificent image. Fabulously shot - I've already mentioned the effect of the sunlight, which is superb - wouldn't have realised you'd used a flash to fill in the shadow details, but it's superbly done. Finally I love what you've done with the composition, particularly following the angle of the body and the walking on water thing (like the fact that it's fast flowing too - adds movement and interest.

I also agree with Ron!

intencityIt's a good idea, the models are very attractive and technically it's fairly well shot.

But you have to get the details right. I'm not too put off by the light spot, I think more seriously the positioning of the hands add nothing (in fact the one in the background is a distraction), the lighting exacerbates this as the model on the right's skin tone doesn't match her hand (whilst it does match that of the model on the left, which seems quite odd). You could also do with a bit of retouching for complexion (which is absolutely no reflection on the model - very few young women have flawless skin).

Don't take this as over-harsh criticism - if the photo was hopeless it would be redundant to make these observations - you do have the potential for a damn good shot here. As Sam pointed out it is Intensity BTW, unless you're making some sort of point - which isn't obvious.

" SHE "

" SHE "Looks like this may be an unpopular view, but I'm afraid I think you've ruined this by overprocessing. The whites of the eyes in particular - by overbrightening (or perhaps you've simply erased all the detail?) just look completely unnatural. I find it difficult to get beyond that as it's as extreme as I've ever encountered.

There probably is a very good shot in there and I'm not against retouching by any means, it just needs to be a lot more subtle. Sorry to seem so negative.
